Agmas participates in planning, management and construction related activities within infrastructure projects.

Our main focus is distribution and transmission of energy, but we also offer competence within the telecommunication sector.
Agmas offers consultative services within a broad range. Our competence embrace preliminary studies, planning, construction, management and maintenance of overhead energy lines as well as underground and subsea cable systems, from low voltage through to transmission lines:

• management of energy distribution and transmission projects
• impact assessment studies
• analysis of power systems - steady state and dynamics
• project management courses
• evaluation of distributed power production units and their connections to weak networks, e.g. wind turbines and mini hydro power plants
• planning of underground and subsea cable systems
• technical- economical optimising of transmission lines
• design studies
• Due diligence of transmission lines
• Site acceptance test and delivery inspection of telecommunication projects
  

Agmas also participates in planning, management and construction of energy related projects in Southern Africa. The projects are performed through ownership of locally registered companies or through cooperating partners.

Agmas has access to specialized equipment and trained manpower for contrating projects within:

• transformer stations
• power lines from low voltage to major transmission lines
• cable systems
  

Agmas also participates in the development of local industry and commerce as well as institutional development in developing countries through participation in a Norwegian aid financed resource pool.

Further expansions are target within solar systems, smaller hydro power plants and new geographical markets.
